LEGAL DISCLAIMER — TICKETS, ALL ACCESS PASSES, AND À LA CARTE PURCHASES

Attendees of the www.ChicagoSteppersLaborOfLove.com convention (the “Event”) are solely responsible for the safekeeping of their tickets, All Access Passes (“Passes”), and any À La Carte purchases. The Chicago Steppers Labor of Love Convention will take place September 3–6, 2026.

Official Host Hotel

The official host hotel for the Event is the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center, located at 5440 North River Road, Rosemont, Illinois 60018. All registration, ticket and Pass pickup, and Event activities referenced in this disclaimer take place at this location unless otherwise announced by the event promoters.

Online Advance Purchases

Passes, tickets, and À La Carte items purchased online in advance require the purchaser to present a valid legal photo ID at the designated pickup area within the host hotel to receive access credentials or event materials. Only the purchaser whose name appears on the transaction record may claim the corresponding items. Third-party pickups are not permitted.

No Advance Pickup Outside the Event Venue

Tickets, Passes, and À La Carte items will be available only at the official host hotel’s designated registration area during the Event dates. There is no advance pickup prior to September 3–6, 2026.

All Sales Are Final

All ticket, Pass, and À La Carte sales are final and nonrefundable. Lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets, Passes, or À La Carte items will not be replaced, reissued, or refunded under any circumstances. Attendees who lose or misplace their credentials or purchased items must repurchase them at the then-current price to gain entry or receive replacement materials.

By purchasing or accepting any ticket, Pass, or À La Carte item, attendees expressly acknowledge and agree that the event promoters, organizers, sponsors, 

and affiliates are not responsible or liable for lost, stolen, or misplaced items, and no exceptions will be made to this policy.

Complimentary Passes for Verified Hotel Guests

Official host hotel guests who can be verified as having booked a minimum two-night stay are entitled to receive two complimentary All Access Passes. These Passes entitle the holder to attend all general Event activities, including all scheduled events and workshops. Private workshops conducted by individual instructors are excluded from this complimentary Pass benefit and are not included.

Photography, Videography, and Social Media

By attending the Event, attendees acknowledge and consent that they may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded, and that such images, video, and audio may be used and posted on social media and other platforms by the event promoters, organizers, sponsors, and affiliates for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes, without further notice or compensation.

Vendor Responsibilities and Liability

Neither the event promoters nor their staff are responsible or liable for any vendor's need for electrical power, mail delivery, display setup, or inventory and wares. Any items, displays, inventory, or wares left behind or forgotten by a vendor following the conclusion of the Event are the sole responsibility of that vendor, and the event promoters and staff assume no liability for their loss, damage, or disposal.

Governing Law

This disclaimer, and all rights and obligations of the Event promoters, organizers, sponsors, affiliates, and attendees arising from or relating to it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this disclaimer, the Event, or any ticket, Pass, or À La Carte purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and each attendee consents to personal jurisdiction in those courts. 

Nothing in this disclaimer limits any right or remedy an attendee may have under applicable Illinois consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
